Robert McGlashan has practiced civil litigation for 9 years.
His practice includes personal injury, motor vehicle accident litigation, occupiers liability, environmental matters, construction litigation, property damage, institutional defence, defence of professionals and estate litigation.
Robert works diligently to protect his clients' interests and takes pride in aggressively finding cost effective and creative solutions to his clients litigation matters.
Robert has served on the Board of the Canadian Defence Lawyers as well as the Ontario Bar Association Insurance Law Section. Robert has organized and spoke at conferences concerning Occupiers liability and property damage. He also has spoken and presented papers dealing with Civil litigation issues, sports and recreation liability issues and the Insurance Act.
He has appeared as trial counsel as well as appearing before the Court of Appeal and preparing materials for the Supreme Court of Canada.
In his leisure time, Robert swims competitively and has won a gold medal in the Canadian open water nationals.
He also has completed several marathons and half marathons, the crossfit games as well as several amateur boxing matches.
Robert has also written and presented papers at the Classical Association of Canada and the Canadian Academic Institute at Athens.
Robert completed an honours Bachelor of Science in Psychology focusing on Animal Behaviour and Classical History at University of Toronto, graduated from Osgoode Hall Law School and was called to the bar in 2006.
